The Electrolyte & Salt Stash I Use for POTS (The ULTIMATE Guide)

I have POTS, EDS, ADHD, Endometriosis, & Celiac (and more, too many to list), and I've tried almost every electrolyte on the market (at least it feels that way)

This is my current collection - capsules, tablets, powders, chewables, and plain electrolytes to DIY your own!

I know what you're thinking - Why do I Have So Many Electrolytes?

If you have POTS, you might already know, but for those that are learning (or have a loved one with POTS):

SodiumπŸ‘πŸ» is πŸ‘πŸ» not πŸ‘πŸ» optional πŸ‘πŸ»

But different days call for different tools. Some days I want quick salt with no taste. Some days I want a flavored drink. Some days I'm in a flare and can't swallow capsules or pills. Some days I'm cooking and realize I can throw some salt into my food. And maybe, most importantly, some days, I need FAST electrolytes to treat acute symptoms.

So I've built up stash! Here's everything I keep on hand, why I have it, and when I use each one.

My Electrolyte Stash (Full Breakdown)

1. Vitassium Extra Strength Electrolyte Capsules – 750mg Sodium

Use when: Everyday maintenance, morning dose, traveling

Why I love them: These are my absolute go-to. Each serving (2 capsules) gives 750mg sodium and 100mg potassium. No taste. No mixing. No sugar. Specifically formulated for POTS/dysautonomia. I take these every morning.

Pros: Stomach-friendly (buffered electrolytes are gentle even on empty stomach), & Celiac safe (certified gluten-free)

Why This Stash Works for POTS + Celiac

Every product listed is:

- Gluten-free (labeled or certified)

- Low or no sugar (no blood sugar spikes)

- Stomach-friendly (no nausea, even on empty stomach, and no reflux)

- MCAS Friendly (at least for me!)

I've tried a LOT of electrolytes. These are the ones I've repurchased over and over!

One Last Thing

You don't need all of these. Start with one or two. Vitassium capsules are my #1 recommendation for daily use. Add powders if you want flavor. Add chewables if you have bad days and flares that need quick relief.
